What is reflexology?

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that uses pressure on specific points of the feet, hands or face. Many people find it deeply relaxing and a welcome moment of calm.

What is REST?

REST is my personal approach to relaxation. It brings together reflexology, acupressure, breathing and calm presence, adapted to each person, with simple practices you can take home.

What happens during a session?

REST Restore and REST Renew begin with a confidential consultation about your wellbeing and preferences; REST Recharge begins with a brief wellbeing check. You then relax on a comfortable couch or chair while I work gently through the session. We finish with a few simple self-care suggestions.

Do I need to undress?

No. For foot reflexology, you only remove your shoes and socks. For hand reflexology and facial & cranial acupressure, you stay fully clothed. Wear comfortable clothing.

Will it hurt?

Reflexology should not be painful. The pressure is gentle and always adapted to what feels comfortable for you. Just let me know at any time if you would like me to adjust the pressure.

Is it suitable for everyone?

Reflexology may be suitable for many people, but it is not appropriate in every situation. If you are pregnant, have a medical condition or are receiving medical treatment, please let me know when booking. In some cases, I may ask you to check with your GP first. Reflexology does not replace medical advice or treatment.

How should I prepare, and what should I do afterwards?

Try to avoid a heavy meal just before your session. Afterwards, drink some water and, if you can, give yourself a little quiet time to enjoy the feeling of rest.

Where do sessions take place?

In a quiet, simple space on Kingston Hill, or in the comfort of your own home. For home visits, all you need is a quiet space; I bring everything else. A travel supplement applies to home visits: £10 within Kingston upon Thames and nearby areas, £15 elsewhere in London and Surrey.

How many sessions should I have?

There is no fixed number. Some people enjoy a single session; others like to make rest a regular part of their routine. If you would like regular sessions, we can discuss a routine that works for you.

Are you qualified and insured?

Yes. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology (VTCT/ITEC), I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists, registered with the CNHC, and fully insured.

Do you offer sessions in French?

Yes. Sessions are available in English and French.

How do I book and pay?

You can book through the booking form, by phone or by WhatsApp. Payment is accepted in cash or by bank transfer.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes. Gift vouchers are available for all REST experiences and are valid for 12 months.
